Feb. 25th, 2009 04:01 pmУдобство обеспечивается отдачей контроля над низкоуровневыми деталями кому-то или чему-то другому. Это типа как закон сохранения энергии. А о том какая пропорция удобства/контроля самая правильная - сколько людей, столько и мнений. Я вот кур хочу своих держать, а против нетбуков ничего пока не имею ;)

Что делает нетбук + server-based computing? Выносит processing и storage наружу пользовательского компьютера. С одной стороны это дает преимущество с точки зрения легкости доступа, надежности хранения, и безопасности. С другой стороны, это ослабляет контроль пользователя над этими элементами. Хорошо это или плохо? Фор хум хау. Зависит от того, какие в обществе правовые нормы. Но точно дешевле.

Если коротко: нетбуки. Я года два+ назад прочитала у кого-то (тогда ещё неочевидную) мысль про то, что приложения в конечном итоге вынесутся online, и с тех пор то что происходит в этой области только подтверждает тот прогноз.
